Dream Classic Cream Wedding on Oahu's North Shore

The first project in Raj Tents and Current Affairs partnership to bring fabulous tents to the Hawaiian islands took place on Saturday 10th July with an installation of two cream Grand Maharaja tents by a tropical beach on Oahu’s north shore - a white wedding can’t get much ‘dreamier’ than that. Tent installation and design was by Current Affairs’ Master Designer, Steven Boyle. As it was the first installation in the new joint venture, Dominic Mitchell of Raj Tents was there to lend a hand and discuss ongoing events with Steven and Current Affairs’ president Philip Richardson.

The concept was to have simple, understated tenting in a neutral palette to frame the magnificent scenery. The Grand Maharaja tent had plain cream pole covers, drapes and scalloping. Tables were set with gold linens and simple floral centerpieces. Outside the Grand Maharaja tents, a colorful cocktail bar and separate low table for the kids gave space to mingle before and after the ceremony.

The Loulu Palm Estate on Oahu’s North Shore was a wonderful venue, with a huge lawn and lovely views of the Pacific Ocean to frame with luxury tents. The wedding was planned by Morgan Childs of Moana Events and Debbie Fisher of Pacific Event Group on Maui.
